Golden Age Origin: 

Morpheus Slumber was a ghost trapped in an unmarked grave. Through sheer force of will, he was able to escape the cemetary to torture the living to death with unspeakable nightmares. He rode a ghostly green horse and was accompanied by various demons he referred to as his "nightmares." He could also physically attack people while they were asleep. After being defeated by the Duke of Darkness, Mr. Slumber was forced back into the grave.

Volton the Human Generator

Golden Age Origin:

Volton possesses what is called "the electrical power of elongation." He is super strong, he can fly, and he can emit bolts of lightning and electrify his hands.

Notes:

Volton stories were the first published work of Joe Kubert, a comic book creator who went on to do lots of stuff for many, many comic publishers.

Marvel Comics introduced Volton as a reimagined character in the Marvel Universe.

Miss Victory

Origin:

Joan Wayne was a Washington D.C. stenographer who grew tired of watching corrupt politicians. She decided to help the FBI by putting on a costume and fighting the crooked politicians as Miss Victory. It seems she has superhuman strength and limited invulnerability because of her abilities to survive explosions, break free of ropes, or knock down walls. Her enemies include the Mad Monster. She is considered the first patriotic heroine.

Blue Streak & Tago

Origin:

The Blue Streak was called a "Defender of the People" and the "self-appointed foe of ruthless dictators." His sidekick was his Asian chauffeur and friend, Tago.

Masked Tago

Blue Streak had no superpowers but was a skilled fighter and wore a bulletproof vest under his costume.
